Design It

Technology has changed embroidery from a small monogram or flower into endless possibilities and creativity. Today more than ever we see designers using embroidery in home dec, personalized gifs, sportswear, couture sewing and quilting! The new Design It club will gather monthly as B-Sew Inn Sewing Consultants present new concepts and ideas for inspiring you to “design” your own masterpieces and artwork in your sewing studio!

Design It will offer embroidery concepts and techniques by combining built-it features of your sewing and embroidery machine with the wide range of software technology now available to all embroidery enthusiasts. Software is not required, although research has shown us most embroiderers are now using some level of software and the interest of how to maximize the software is rising steadily.

Fun with Feet

No more boring feet – at least not at B-Sew Inn! Sewing and serger feet are created for fun and we believe our customers deserve FUN! It’s time to kick off your shoes and get your feet walking in the right direction. They say “no two feet are alike” and this year we will prove this theory as we take you walking to places you’ve never gone before, or maybe just revisit some old familiar places with a new twist. The new Fun with Feet club will gather monthly, so plan to take a walk with the B-Sew Inn Sewing Consultants to discover inspiration, fun and lots of healthy laughter!

Fun with Feet will combine the amazing features of your sewing machine and serger with the endless possibilities of feet and accessories. Gathering doesn’t have to be difficult and pintucks should be fun, not stressful. From decorative rolled hem to specialty expressive stitches, you’ll discover fun ways to maximize the equipment you own and have been scared to use! Fear no more … Dr. Feet is here!  

Serger Sensation

No, No, No – sergers are NOT stressful, they are SENSATIONAL! B-Sew Inn Sewing Consultants are excited to launch the NEW Serger Sensation forum which will meet monthly to explore the undiscovered treasures of the serger!
               
Serger Sensation will show you how to eliminate tension headaches and introduce you to painless threading experiences! No medicine required once you uncover the hidden secrets with your B-Sew Inn friends. Why sergers? Well, that is easy to answer: 

Sergers are to sewing like a microwave is to cooking – it’s faster and easier!
               
Each month you’ll explore at least two serger techniques – from basic stitches like narrow rolled hem to expressive stitches, such as “the wave”; from perfect 2:1 ratio gathering to easy pintucks, you’ll quickly understand how to go start cooking in your sewing studio. Additionally, you will see decorative threads come to life for creative serging possibilities – they are endless and beautiful!

DIY - Do It Yourself

Don’t buy it – Make it! With the increasing cost across the nation, it’s time to Do It Yourself and SAVE MONEY! Window treatments, monogrammed napkins, nursery and toddler rooms, seasonal sweatshirts, decorative pillows – you are a creative sewing enthusiast and you CAN DIY in 2009!
               
The NEW monthly DIY interactive presentation will show you how to turn an expensive project into an affordable project. Each session will show how the B-Sew Inn Sewing Consultants took an item purchased at a local store and recreated it for fractions of the cost.
